Ēma teaches through an evidence-based, nationally recognized curriculum, Nurturing Parenting, which focuses on family strengthening and prevention. This curriculum is family-centered and trauma informed designed to build nurturing parenting skills as an alternative to abuse and neglect. Ēma Groups meet weekly at the Ēma Center to facilitate the NPP curriculum – also offering childcare, transportation, and a meal at every meeting. Don’t forget about our incentive program offering mothers gift cards, child/baby items, clothes, household items, and hygienic items to shop through as they achieve their weekly and monthly goals.

Crisis Resources

Ēma operates with a network of referral services in Broward County focusing on transitional housing, educational needs, non-perishable food items, benevolent financial resources, and counseling for young single moms in crisis.

Every week, Ēma Groups provide a safe place and positive community. Our Groups are equipped with Life Coaches and Case Managers who are there to focus on supporting moms through crisis in tangible and measurable ways.
