The Staffing Management Association (SMA), is an independent Special Interest Chapter (SIC), offering our members all the benefits of SHRM membership while providing content and support focused on the recruiting and retention aspects of HR. At the local level, Staffing Management of South Florida was the first PEG to be approved as a SIC. We were officially inducted at our March 2nd meeting and are pleased and excited to provide an even greater level of support and valuable resources for our members. Staffing Management Asosociation (SMA) provides insight, leadership and professional development opportunities for its members through regional and national conferences and outstanding publications.

SMA South Florida hosts a minimum of 4 events per year locally in South Florida.  Each event addresses timely topics that are critical to our core membership, and focuses on a current aspect of recruitment or retention.  We typically invite nationally and regionally acclaimed guests to contribute their professional expertise to our events.  Our membership is encouraged to help with event planning and participation by volunteering to assist on a committee. SHRM members who join the local chapter of SMA South Florida will gain the benefit of a group focused solely on HR issues surrounding recruitment and retention.
